"Prayer is our most formidable weapon, the thing which makes all else we do efficient."
E. M. Bounds

God has chosen to work in response to the prayers of His people.

It is our delight and commitment to cooperate with God in His purposes and see the fulfillment of the things we pray for.

Through prayer we maintain a vibrancy of faith and relationship with God. Jesus often took time alone to pray and wait in quietness on His Father and the apostle Paul emphasizes a life of continual prayer.

Jesus encouraged His disciples to pray with honesty, humility, dependency and without pretense.

As any relationship grows and deepens through talking together prayer can be the easy conversation of friends and becomes the first response in any situation.

Great spiritual power is attached to the unity of believers in prayer and we must do all we can to maintain this unity through forgiveness and peace.

God delights in the prayers of His people and desires that His church is called "a house of prayer for all nations." Isaiah 56 v 7
